Fishing in Costa Caleta
There are plenty of fish in the sea around Costa Caleta and they are not too difficult to catch.
The photograph shows some of the species that can be caught by simply float fishing with prawn as bait. The biggest fish in the photographs are just over 40cm long, and this size of fish is easier to catch at night.
Other suitable baits are squid, bread and sweetcorn.
If you want to know what is being caught at any particular time then a visit to my mate Aram in his tackle shop, Gone Fishing, is the best way to find out what is being caught as all the locals tell him when they have caught something worth bragging about.
