Entertainment in Costa Caleta
There is plenty of entertainment in Caleta, some of it is very good and some of it is at the other end of the scale! This usually, but not always involves Karaoke.
There is a stage in the Castillo Centro Shopping centre and there is music of some form on there every night. There are boards outside that tell you who will be performing ove the next few days.
The stage is downstairs at the other end of the center from Tommy Nutters and the music is a little less loud if you are at that end. If you prefer your music louder then you can get a drink at that end and there is room for a dance if you feel that way inclined.
The group playing here are a trio that play rythm and bluesy type rock. They are on the stage, though they are not too clear, but I thought the lights made a nice photo. Onthis particular evening a member of the audience did a turn on the vocals and he did a decent job of Mustang Sally, and a couple of other classics.
The photo on the right is off Alberto performing in the El Patio restaurant. The photo was taken from across the road with an ISO setting of 800, hence the lack of quality.
Alberto has been around Caleta for quite a while and he plays easy to listen to stuff, and when he is working in one of the restaurants it acts as a sort of semi background music that adds to the enjoyment of the evening.
